Join us for a fun and exciting journey exploring the figure in art from Da Vinci’s classical proportions in the Vetruvian Man to modern masters interpretations of human form in various media including drawing with graphite and oil pastels, painting on canvas, relief carving and collage!!!

Dear Students, Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to enroll in our brand new courses at smART! including Painting, Drawing, Collage and Sewing. This Winter term we will start off with COLOR DETECTIVES discovering and exploring all new painting techniques beginning with a basic review of color mixing based on the color families: primary, secondary and tertiary leading into more sophisticated combinations of complementary colors,value scales and tints and shades to suggest volume, mass and roundness of form in our work. All along we will be looking into the work of great masters to develop our sense and sensibility and find our own expressive voice... Our paintings will go from tempera on paper to acrylics on canvas. Sign up as soon as possible to ensure your place (limited to 10 students only).
