Children will enjoy exploring the universe of art and it's artists through the styles and trends of different periods, times and places!!!
Start the year by enhancing your drawing skills with van Gogh in a careful study of the element of line and shape using a variety of drawing media such as graphite, charcoal, pen and ink exploring the importance of value, rhythm ann variety in line.
Students will learn techniques in rendering from representing everyday objetcs such as shoes, boots and household items like cups and jugs, chairs and vases! We will study carefully the expressionistic works of great master van Gogh including the famous bedroom at Arles, his shoes, the sunflowers and endless fields of wheat, landscapes and starry nights!!! Join us as we immerse ourselves in the world of van Gogh, Cezanne, Matisse and Magritte to name a few!!!!
